Phil Koboski

A Dedicated Advocate for South Windsor

Phil Koboski, a candidate for the South Windsor Town Council, has devoted nearly a quarter-century to strengthening the fabric of his community. Since 2001, when Phil moved to South Windsor with his wife Brenda and their sons, Theo and Eric, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to civic engagement, public service, and collaborative leadership.

Phil’s unwavering conviction that the community deserves a voice—and that leadership’s duty is to act positively in response—remains a hallmark of his public service.

Throughout the past 18 years, he has served on several boards and commissions, each time bringing integrity, diligence, and fiscal responsibility to the table.

Phil’s commitment to education stands out in his three terms on the Board of Education, where he played an instrumental role in contract negotiations with both teachers and administrators. His leadership helped foster a constructive relationship between staff and district, always prioritizing students’ best interests.

Phil’s dedication to South Windsor goes beyond public office. He has coached youth roller hockey and Little League, guided Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and built theatrical sets for the C.A.S.T. Children’s Theater in Manchester. He is a proud member of the South Windsor Historical Society and takes great joy in restoring the historic home he and Brenda purchased in 2016. Both of Phil’s sons are graduates of South Windsor High School, benefiting from the very school system Phil helped shape.

With 40 years in the insurance accounting industry, Phil brings a wealth of financial expertise to his public service. Currently an Assistant Director with The Hartford Insurance Group, he has cultivated deep experience in financial reporting and budgeting, skills that underpin his responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.

Phil Koboski’s political journey is defined by a steadfast commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and results. He believes that every resident’s concerns are worthy of attention and that positive change is built on open dialogue and decisive action. As he seeks to continue his service on the Town Council, Phil remains dedicated to strengthening South Windsor for all who call it home.
