Meet
Marek Kozikoski

Marek Kozikowski has called South Windsor home for over 31 years. He grew up here, attended South Windsor Public Schools, and graduated from South Windsor High School in 2001, where he played football and lacrosse for the Bobcats.

After living in West Haven for 11 years, Marek and his wife Kristen moved back to South Windsor in 2017 to raise their family. They live on Clark Street with their four children – one at South Windsor High School, two at Timothy Edwards Middle School, and one at Orchard Hill School.

Marek brings over twenty years of experience in local government and community leadership. He serves as the Director of Land Use for the City of Middletown and previously served as Interim Town Manager for the Town of Berlin. In South Windsor, he is the Chairman of the Housing Authority, helping guide housing policy and community development.

As a candidate for the South Windsor Town Council with the United Community Party, Marek will focus on responsible development, protecting open space, supporting local businesses, and making town government more efficient and transparent.

Outside of work, Marek is an avid runner with eight marathons completed and a proud New England Patriots fan. He enjoys concerts, his kids’ activities, and spending time with family.
